Neuropeptidni S receptor (NPSR) je član familije G-protein spregnutih receptora, integralnih membranskih proteina[1] koji vezuju neuropeptid S (NPS).[2] On je bio orfan receptor, GPR154, pre nego što je utvrđeno da je neuropeptid S njegov endogeni ligand.

U CNS-u, aktivacija ovog receptora neuropeptidom S promoviše uzbuđenje i anksiolitičke efekte.[3][4]

NPSR mututacije su bile vezana za podložnost astmi.[5] Iz tog razloga se NPSR ponekad naziva GPRA (G protein-spregnuti receptor za podložnost astmi). NPSR aktivacija u epitelu vazdušnih puteva ima brojne efekte kao što su povećano izražavanje matriks metaloproteinaza koje učestvuju u patogenezi astme.[6]
