John Joseph Lydon (31. januar 1956 -), također poznat pod bivšim umjetničkim pseudonimom Johnny Rotten, je engleski muzičar i kompozitor, najpoznatiji kao bivši pjevač i tekstopisac punk rock grupe Sex Pistols 1970-ih, te post-punk grupe Public Image Ltd. 1980-ih i 1990-ih.

Lydon je postao kontroverzna ličnost u medijima 1970-ih kao vođa punk pokreta, te po svojim stavovima protiv muzičkog establišmenta, religije i kršćanstva te klasnog sistema i britanske monarhije.^[1]
