Holmes Rolston III

Holmes Rolston III (lahir 19 November 1932) adalah seorang filsuf yang menjadi University Distinguished Professor of Philosophy di Colorado State University. Ia dikenal karena jasa-jasanya pada etika lingkungan hidup dan hubungan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Dari beberapa penghargaan lainnya, Rolston memenangkan Penghargaan Templeton 2003, yang dianugerahi oleh Pangeran Philip di Istana Buckingham.

Model Darwinian digunakan untuk mendefinisikan konsep-konsep tematik utama dalam filsafat Rolston dan juga tren pemikiran umumnya pada kedalaman yang lebih luas.^[1]
