Westtown is a hamlet in Orange County, in the U.S. state of New York.[1] It is located along New York State Route 284 north of Unionville and Minisink, and north of the New Jersey state border.

History

A post office called West Town was established in 1816, the name was changed to Westtown in 1894, and the post office remains in operation.[2] The community was named for its location on the west side of the town of Minisink.[3]
