The Creamline Cool Smashers is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by the Republic Biscuit Corporation and named after its Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand.
History
The Creamline Cool Smashers made their Premier Volleyball League (PVL) debut at the Reinforced Open Conference in 2017 with Thai coach Tai Bundit as their first head coach. The team is owned by Republic Biscuit Corporation.[1] It is named after their Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand.[2]
They would finish as third placers in the 2017 Reinforced Open Conference. Among the more successful teams in the PVL, Creamline has never finished outside the podium,[3] winning eight conference titles in total as of the conclusion of the 2024 All-Filipino Conference.[4]
Creamline also formed part of the Philippine national team's core and staff for the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup on account of winning the 2022 Invitational Conference.[5][6] Creamline acting as the national team would finish sixth, in the tournament hosted at home.[7]
